Welcome to Season 3 of Down Under Theology, a podcast equipping and encouraging Australian Christians to get down and under the theology impacting the life and mission of the church.
In Episode 7, we're joined by special guest, Dr Guy Waters, to discuss the Sabbath and its implications for the life of the Christian today. What is the Sabbath? What's its significance through the history of God's people both in the OT and the NT? Do Jesus and Paul do away with the Sabbath? How should we observe the Sabbath today?
Dr Guy P. Waters is the Professor of NT and Academic Dean (Jackson & Brazil) at Reformed Theological Seminary. He is the author of several books including, “The Sabbath as Rest and Hope for the People of God” and “How Jesus Runs the Church”.
