Welcome to season 2 of Down Under Theology, a podcast equipping and encouraging Australian Christians to get down and under the theology impacting the life and mission of the church.
In episode 5, we're honing in on the book of Joshua as the Israelites cross into the promised land. Will they trust the Lord who saves, or continue in their unfaithfulness? Join us as we examine the story of Joshua in light of larger biblical themes like covenant, recreation and rest. We also touch on how to read and teach this book well in light of some of the confronting stories like the Canaanite conquest.
In Season 2, we'll be going over each book of the Bible, bringing out the big ideas, themes, and implications for the life and mission of the church.
