Welcome to season 2 of Down Under Theology, a podcast equipping and encouraging Australian Christians to get down and under the theology impacting the life and mission of the church.
In the final episode of Season 2, we're joined by special guest, Nancy Guthrie, to unpack the book of Revelation. We chat about reading and teaching Revelation well, including a discussion on why we find it hard to read, and some tools to help interpret the book. Nancy provides a helpful structure for the book based around the number 7. We also discuss the major biblical-theological themes of the book including Kingdom, Worship, and the Consummation. Perhaps most importantly, we think about how we “hear and keep” the book of Revelation in order to experience the promises within.
Nancy Guthrie is a popular author of several books including the recently released Blessed: Experiencing the Promise of the Book of Revelation. She also hosts the podcast, Blessed: Conversations on the Book of Revelation, produced by Crossway.
