S2 Episode 37: Letters from the Lord’s Brothers (James & Jude)

Welcome to season 2 of Down Under Theology, a podcast equipping and encouraging Australian Christians to get down and under the theology impacting the life and mission of the church.

In episode 37, we're taking a look at the letters from the Lord's brothers – James and Jude. We chat about the themes of trials and temptations, wisdom, riches and poverty, and holding firm to the faith. We also discuss reading and teaching these books well including seeing James as wisdom literature, and what to do with difficult issues such as the “saved by works” verses in James and the extra-biblical references in Jude.

In Season 2, we'll be going over each book of the Bible, bringing out the big ideas, themes, and implications for the life and mission of the church.
